The BJP’s election campaign will get a major boost, with Union Home Minister Amit Shah arriving in the State on Sunday to address two virtual rallies and a workers’ meet.
Addressing a news conference on Saturday, BJP State President Sadanand Shet Tanawade said the party would live-stream the home minister’s address at the two rallies.
He informed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP National President J P Nadda, Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan and Union Women and Child Welfare Minister Smriti Irani will also address rallies in the State.
“Shah will address a rally at the Sungrace Garden in Ponda at 3 pm and entry will be limited at the meeting. Live streaming of the meet will be done and party has made arrangements at the booth level.”
“The second rally will be held at Sharada high school in Sanvordem at 5.20 pm. After that, Shah will launch an umbrella campaign in Vasco. We appeal to the public to view the telecast of the meetings,” he added.
