All 175 students who appeared for the 10th standard exams, conducted by the ICSE board from Sharada Mandir School, Miramar, cleared the exam, manager of the school Oscar Gonsalves told "The Goan" on Tuesday.
Of the 175 students, 150 got distinction i.e. scored 75% and above, and 23 students got a first class. Ajrajah Vardhan Bhobe stood first in the school with 98.17% securing 100 on 100 in History, Geography, Maths, Chemistry, Computers, and English Literature.
Three students scored 98% coming in a close second. These are Raghavi Rajesh Marathe, Tarini D'Souza Rebelo, Ashwini Jayendra Parulekar. They too scored 100 on 100 in many subjects. And in the third rank is Tarini Emily D'Souza securing 97.5 %.
Further, in the 12th standard exams conducted by the ISC board, 22 students appeared in the Arts stream, while 20 appeared in the Commerce stream from the Higher Secondary Section of Sharada Mandir. Sihaam Shahid Naik topped the Arts stream with 97.8%, Urvi Gajanan Keni came in second with 96.6% and Luke Caitano Dias secured the third rank with 96%.
The Commerce stream saw Evita Midori Quadros top with 96.6%, Carla Maria Hilda Afonso come in second with 95.2% and Rishika Khemka coming in third with 95%. As the school just started its Science stream last academic year, the first batch of students have not yet passed out from 12th, but the school will be getting its first 12th pass-outs in Science in the year 2020.
