Shennoi Goembab Study Award
PANAJI: Palia Gaonkar Pandit has been chosen for the Shennoi Goembab Study Award instituted by ‘Goembab Yadastik.' This award consists of a cash reward. Palia Gaonkar Pandit will study and submit her research work in one year on the topic ‘Now forgotten Konkani words from Shennoi Goembab’s literature and their analysis.’ Selection committee comprised of Adv Uday Bhembre and Dr Tanaji Halarnkar.
Palia Gaonkar Pandit has studied MA from Goa University and has also passed NET exam. She was teaching in Government Colleges of Khandola and Sankhli and then in MES College. Presently she is pursuing full time studies for PhD (English) at Goa University.
