Shristhal Panchayat has finally decided to utilise the Golden Jubilee Liberation Grant to construct a market complex with shops near the Panchayat Ghar in the village.
On Tuesday, Speaker and Canacona MLA Ramesh Tawadkar laid the foundation stone for the new market complex near the Shristhal Panchayat under the Golden Jubilee Liberation Grant, in the presence of Shristhal Sarpanch Sejal Gaonkar, Panch members Ganesh Gaonkar, Akshada Velip, Ramu Naik, and Nilesh Velip and panchayat Secretary Sushant Naik Gaonkar.
Speaking on the occasion Tawadkar said, “This project marks a positive step towards strengthening local infrastructure and boosting economic opportunities for the villagers. With better facilities and improved accessibility, these market shops will support small businesses and contribute to the growth and self-reliance of the entire Shristhal village.”
