The Margao police on late Friday evening attached skeletal remains from a closed house at Navelim with the help of forensic officials.
The police, however, said the question of whether the skeletal remains are of a human being or animal will be known only after the same are examined by medico-legal experts.
The Margao police and officials of the district mobile forensic laboratory descended on Navelim near the western bypass after the former received information that skeletal remains have been spotted in the closed house.
