Some anxious moments were witnessed at the Carambolim railway station as smoke was seen coming out of a bogie of the Sampark Kranti Express train on Tuesday morning.
According to information, the incident occurred at around 11 am when smoke started coming out of one of the bogies of the train.
The incident was reported to the Old Goa fire station and a fire tender led by officer-in-charge Rohidas D Parab rushed to the site.
However, the staff of KRCL had put out the smoke before the arrival of the firemen.
Incidentally, the brake of the bogie had reportedly jammed and emitted the smoke. The train continued its onwards journey after the issue was sorted out.
