CANACONA
As part of their social initiative, Mukta Drishti Foundation in association with Seagram One Rupee Fund, Indian Red Cross Society, Goa Division, Rotary Club of Madgaon Midtown on Saturday gifted a mobile ambulance to be used in Canacona taluka.
The ambulance with almost all health check-up facilities was provided to create health awareness among the people of rural areas of Canacona. The vehicle has facilities for blood examinations, including for diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure, ECG, etc.
On the occasion, a free health check-up camp and free eye check-ups were held, providing free medicines and distributing 34 spectacles to the beneficiaries who underwent eye treatment from Marlim-Tirwal ward of Poinguinim recently.
