PWD Minister also informed that the state government had spent around Rs 21 crore on creating infrastructure for the levy of entry tax.
Meanwhile, entry tax has ceased to exist from July 1 after the advent of the Goods-and-Services Tax.
State earned Rs`121 crore from entry tax
Public-Works-Department (PWD) Minister Ramkrishna ‘Sudin' Dhavalikar has informed that the state government earned around Rs 121 crore from entry tax since its inception in 2013.
