Others empanelled include Mumbai-based companies Vaastu Vidhaan Projects and Structwel Designers & Consultants Pvt Ltd and Kholhapur based M/s. Indrajit and Rupa Nageshkar.
The services will include restoration and repair works for protected monuments and archaeological sites of Goa. The scope of the work will include site survey documentation and a detailed project report with drawings, interventions, estimates, bill of quantities, tendering, project management and bill certification.
It also entails plans for restoration, conservation, beautification and maintenance of monuments and sites in keeping with the archaeological character.
According to the notification, the plan should also provide for the development of the adjoining areas for beautification of the monument and also for encouraging heritage tourism.
Restoration, conservation and consolidation of the monuments by traditional techniques and materials or such other techniques approved for archaeological conservation and the efficacy of which have been proved by scientific data and by experience are also included in the extent of work of the architects.
