The State witnessed zero deaths due to Covid again on Wednesday, giving signs of the reducing mortality rate and offering solace second time in the week.
Though it comes as a breather, the doctors and medical fraternity is cautious and warns the public to be vigilant and alert for any signs of physical or mental fatigue. Anticipating the third wave, the State is gearing up to face it, in case it hits.
The total home isolated cases in Goa stand at 1,17,367 and the new additions are 205. The cumulative cases of hospitalisation are 28,370 and the new are 22. The samples tested till date are 9,84,237 and in the last 24 hours are 5651.
The total cases of Covid positive are “ 1,69,215 and new 227 are added to it. The total number of deaths in the State is 3,101. The active cases stand at 1,788, those discharged from hospital are 15, with a recovery rate 97.11%, and recovered patients till now are 1,64,326. The recovery in the last 24 hours is 171.
