Abiding by the decision taken in a public meeting to boycott classes for two days, the agitating parents did not send their children to classes at a school in Rivona for the second day on Tuesday.
The parents are up in arms over the decision to suspend a physical education teacher on charges of molesting a schoolgirl and claimed that the teacher is being framed.
Only 15 students attended the classes, while the annual concert has been cancelled with no concrete decision over the date to organise the annual gathering.
Speaking to The Goan, Rivona Panch Vaishali Naik said parents did not send their children to classes and about 15 students were seen in the school.
“The annual school gathering stood cancelled and till now no date has been decided to it. Parents aren't totally supporting the suspended teacher, but they are more upset with the school management's moves of keeping aside the local parents and not taking parents into confidence over the issue and also not convening PTA meeting,” Naik added.
