Noted surgical gastroenterologist and ex-consultant of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (Hyderabad) Dr Shrishail Hanagandi has joined the Lakeview Group of Hospitals team at Belagavi.
He has invited Goans to seek his medical services and said there is no need to rush to metro cities for hi-tech surgeries.
Hailing from Belagavi district, Dr Hanagandi has worked with internationally acclaimed experts in field of gastroenterology like Dr Nageshwar Reddy and Dr G V Rao of Asian Institute of Gastroenterology.
Speaking to The Goan, Dr Hanagandi said: “I have been trained in Advanced Laparoscopy, GI Cancer, Robotic Surgey and Liver Transplant and have been regularly performing advanced complicated surgeries like Colon pull up, Whipple and Ileo anal pouch surgeries successfully. Earlier, patients from Belagavi and Goa region had to travel to Bengaluru, Hyderabad, etc. For these surgeries,” Dr Hangandi said.
He has also mastered Therapeutic Endoscopy, Hepatology and Weight Reduction Surgery.
