Swapnil Mahesh Naik, IAS from Goa, bagged a Gold Medal for his meritorious services to Arunachal Pradesh.
He was felicitated at the hands of AP Governor Lt General (Retd) K T Parnaik, on the occasion of the Statehood Day, held on Tuesday.
Present on the occasion were AP Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy CM Chowna Mein, Minister for Civil Aviation Nakap Nalo and Chief Secretary Dharmendra.
After rising up to the position of IAS from Goa Civil Service cadre, Naik has been serving the north eastern state of Arunachal Pradesh for the last three years, as the Secretary of Civil Aviation, Textile and Handicrafts. He is also holding additional charge of Administrative Reforms Division, AP Public Service Board, Science & Technology etc.
