For the convenience of pilgrims and varkaris from Belagavi and North Karnataka region and to clear the anticipated extra rush during the season, the South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to run Special Unreserved Express Trains between Dharwad and Pandharpur for Ashada Ekadashi Festival.
Pilgrims from Goa can board this train at Londa, Khanapur or Belagavi as per their convenience.
Train Nos 07357/07358 Dharwad–Pandharpur–Dharwad Unreserved Express Special Trains will operate six trips from July 23, to July 28.
Accordingly, Train No. 07357 will depart from Dharwad at 6 am on these days and will arrive at Pandharpur at 4.50 in the evening. En route, the train will arrive and depart at Alnavar, Londa (07:28/07:30 am), Khanapur (07:59/08:00 am), Desur, Belagavi (08:30/08:35 am) and proceed further reaching Miraj Junction at 12.20 and proceed to Pandharpur from there at 1.30 to reach Pandharpur at 4.50 pm.
In the return direction, Train No. 07358 Pandharpur–Dharwad train will depart from Pandharpur at 6.40 pm from July 23 to July 28 and will reach Dharwad at 4.30 am the following day. En route, the train will reach and depart Belagavi (01:20/01:25 am, Khanapur (01:52/01:53 hrs), Londa (02:28/02:30 hrs).
The special trains will comprise 10 coaches, including 8 General Second Class Coaches and 2 Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Vans with Divyangjan-friendly compartments.
