A teenager was found lying dead in a building premises near a catering institute at Vasco on Tuesday.
According to Vasco Police, they received a call at about 2.30 pm from the residents of the building informing that a boy about 15 to 18 years was found lying dead. They rushed to the site and found the boy lying dead with multiple fractures to his body.
Police suspect that the boy might have either committed suicide or accidentally fell down from the terrace of the eight floors building.
Giving description of the young boy, the police informed that the boy is of dark complexion and was wearing blue jeans pant and stripped T-shirt.
The police informed that the watchman of the building, who is newly appointed, had seen the boy entering the building premises, but did not stop him as he was not aware whether the boy was a resident of the building complex or not. However, the residents informed that the boy is not from any of the buildings in the area.
Police further informed that the body was shifted to GMC Hospital in Bambolim and preserved in the morgue for identification and PSI Yogesh Mandrekar is investigating the case.
