In a tragic incident, a teenager died while another person was seriously injured after a two-wheeler they were riding crashed into a tanker in Calangute late Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Mayur Degvekar (17) a resident of Saligao while the pillion rider, Aman Shirodkar is undergoing treatment at the Goa Medical College and Hospital.
The accident happened when the deceased rammed his two-wheeler into a soil tanker which was moving ahead of him near the Dolphin Circle, Calangute.
The mishap was reported on Saturday at around 11.45 pm. The deceased died on the spot.
Calangute Police are investigating further.
