The SRS Vedic Mathematics Academy, leading organisation spreading knowledge of Vedic Mathematics, will organise the 6th SRS All Goa Vedic Mathematics Test (SRS-AGVMT) for school students in Ponda on September 24 at 3.15 pm.

According to SRS, Vedic Mathematics is high speed mathematics which is very useful for regular Mathematics as well as for any competitive exam. The test is primarily organised to encourage and test Vedic mathematics knowledge among the school students. It will be a written test of 45 minutes duration consisting of 50 questions.
The test will be conducted in two categories - Category I - Std 5 to 7 and Category II - Std 8 to 10. School can send maximum of two participants in each category. Schools with over 1,000 students (Std 5 to 10) are eligible to send two entry forms. An entry fee of Rs 100 will be charged for each participant.
Top five participants in each category will be awarded attractive prizes. Besides, merit certificate with rank will be awarded to top 25% students. All the participants will be given participation certificate. Last date for submitting completed entry form is September 6.
SRS also conducts Vedic Mathematics workshop in the school premises at nominal cost. So far, SRS has conducted such workshops in over 100 different schools in Goa.
