Fatorda police have uncovered the involvement of a third accused in the ongoing investigation into a police impersonation case.
The accused, identified as Vijay Kishan Vishnoi, 24, a resident of Thane, Maharashtra, is said to have played a key role in managing a Federal Bank account linked to the case.
The breakthrough came during the sustained interrogation of the two previously arrested suspects. They revealed Vishnoi’s alleged involvement, prompting police to initiate technical surveillance.
A police team was dispatched to Mumbai, where they conducted precise monitoring and careful observation, leading to Vishnoi’s swift arrest on Monday. He has been remanded to police custody for four days as investigations continue.
Authorities are probing further to uncover additional details about the case.
