19-year-old boy succumbs to injuries following fall at home

A 19-year-old youth from Chinchinim, Salcete, tragically succumbed to his injuries at the Goa Medical College (GMC) hospital in Bambolim after falling from the second floor of his house.  

Cuncolim Police Inspector Diego Gracias confirmed that Adler Joe Rodrigues fell while attempting to enter his locked house through a second-floor window. The incident resulted in severe head injuries. He was initially taken to the South District Hospital in Margao and later referred to GMC Bambolim for advanced treatment.  

Despite medical efforts, Rodrigues was declared dead while undergoing treatment. A post-mortem examination revealed the cause of death as “damage to the head, brain, and chest due to blunt force impact with a surface or object.”  

Police investigations are ongoing to determine further details surrounding the incident.
