At the Desterio Chapel in Vasco, the theme was “Celebrating Christ’s birth to living out Christ's life.”
In the crib they have a desert with a volcano and to the side villages and mountains which have a waterfall. On one side of the mountains the snowy region there is made up of disposible cups. All the mountains are made of jute sacks. The youth have also reused last year's banners and painted them.
Fr. Vincent Leitao led the team of young people and parishioners of St Joaquim Chapel in Borda and they came with a novel idea of making a life-size crib by the side of the chapel.They started the crib well in time, a month and a half before Christmas and created a graceful ambience.
