Thousands throng to Talaulim feast

The feast of St Anne, popularly known as ‘touxeanchem fest' was celebrated at St Anne's Church in Talaulim with religious fervour on Sunday.

Fr Remedious Fernandes was the main celebrant for the feast mass mass along with St Anne Parish Priest Fr Jhonsie Pereira, Fr Antonio D'Costa, Fr Kyriel D'Souza and
other priests.
A large number of devotees from various parts of the State thronged Santan and offered flowers, candles and cucumbers to St Anne. The devotees were seen standing in queues to take blessings of St Anne, while a huge crowd attended all the masses on the feast day.
A procession of St Anne was carried out and devotees participated along with local MLA Francis Silveira. Agassaim police maintained law and order.
