Tiatrist John D’Silva thanks Goans for support

Tiatrist John D’Silva, who lodged a complaint with Maina-CVurtorim police station regarding a Facebook post which attributed some funny remarks to him, thanked the Goans for their support.

Speaking to mediapersons, D’Silva said he does not forgive all acts and in case all crimes were forgiven, then institutions such as police, CBI, Crime branch and various arms of the judiciary would not have been established.  
D’Silva said the funny remarks attributed to him in the Facebook post could have well been delivered by the person who posted the same. He lamented the fact that these commentes were attributed to him.  He also urged a section of the people to draw inspiration from celebrities from different walks of life.

Galgibaga beach hit by erosion

Sand erosion has hit the Galgibaga beach coast during the past fortnight. rnAccording to residents, the beach coast has been affected so badly that over a 100 Casuariana trees, especially grown by the Forest Department over the years to safeguard the coast, have been uprooted and washed into the sea.
