Tourism Dept schedules 4 international road shows in March

PANAJI

Despite the fear of Covid-19 spread looming large in India with China and four other countries recording a rapid rise in daily cases, Tourism Department has scheduled four international road shows in March 2023.

A tender notice on Thursday reveals that Goa will participate in the road shows in Paris (France) on March 21, Zurich (Switzerland) on March 24, Frankfurt (Germany) on March 27 and Vienna (Austria) on March 29.

The department claims that it aims to attract international tourists to Goa for various segments of Tourism including First Itinerary Travelers, Wellness, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), Leisure, Monsoon and medical tourism. “The primary objective of organizing road shows is to depict Goa and India as a destination for travel and to provide a platform for Goan Tour Operators, Travel Agents, Hoteliers, etc to showcase their tourism products,” the tender notice states.
