PANAJI: The Directorate of Fisheries will conduct a three-day short term training course on crab culture is scheduled from July 28 to July 30 at Fishermen Training Centre of the Directorate of Fisheries, at Ela Dhauji, Old Goa and field visit will be undertaken on July 29 at Sindhudurg District Maharashtra. Candidates interested in aforesaid training course are requested to confirm his/her participation to the Department on or before July 26.

Laptop, cash stolen from advocate's office at PondaPONDA: Burglars broke open the office of an advocate at Tisk-Ponda and decamped with a laptop and cash of Rs 20,000. Ponda police informed that the burglary occurred on Thursday afternoon. “Adv Swapnil Parab Gaonkar complained that the latch of his office door was broken and burglars decamped with a laptop and cash of Rs 20,000 kept in table drawer,” informed the duty officer.
