Training on Embedded C held
PANAJI: The Computer Engineering department of Agnel Institute of Technology & Design (AITD), Assagao, organized its first Indian Society for Technical Education-approved short-term training programme (STTP) on 'Robotics Using Embedded C' with an objective to create awareness among professionals and academia for better utilization of Embedded C in robotics, from November 2 to 6. The programme was coordinated by Prof Nora Naik and Prof Snehal Bhogan, both assistant professors in the department of Computer Engineering.
In all 27 participants from faculties of AITD, Government Polytechnic Panjim, Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering & Information Technology and Don Bosco College of Engineering took part.
The resource persons for the training were Dr Biju K Raveendran, BITS Pilani-Goa, Dr T Veerakumar, NIT-Goa, Prof Terence Johnson and Prof Laxmikant Bordekar from AITD-Assagao, Dinesh Tavasalkar and Akash Shah from ARK Technosolutions-Mumbai.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr Bharat M Deshpande, BITS Pilani, Goa Campus along with Fr Seby Rodrigues, assistant director, ATEC and Principal, Dr V Mariappan. Tirathprasad Nagvekar, Director ADEC delivered the keynote address.
