In a bizarre mishap, two tankers carrying phosphoric acid and travelling along the same route were involved in a mishap in the wee hours of Friday morning, leaving one driver injured in the incident.
The source said the driver of the rear tanker suffered leg injuries and was shifted to the hospital for treatment.
“The ill-fated tanker is parked along the road and the company is likely to make arrangements to tow the vehicle and clear the cargo in some time,” said the source.
