A 72-year-old man from Navelim and a 59-year-old woman from Cansaulim lost their lives to Covid-19 at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim.
With this, the Covid victim count of Goa has touched 781.
The Health Department detected 40 new cases of the infection from among the 1,220 samples tested in the last 24 hours. The total confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Goa have risen to 54, 275 of which 52,969 have recovered and 525 are presently active. The recovery rate is 97.59 per cent so far.
