Unidentified person booked for kidnapping minor

Mapusa Police on Tuesday booked a case against an unknown person for allegedly kidnapping a minor girl from Xelpem, Mapusa.

Police informed that based on a complaint filed by the mother of a 16-year-old girl a case was registered under Section 363 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 8 of the Goa Children’s Act against an unidentified person.

Mapusa Police is investigating further.
