The State government has decided to open up the first dose of vaccination from Wednesday for the 18-44 age group who need to travel internationally for employment, education and sporting events.
Those availing of this facility will be expected to carry with them certain documents at the vaccination centre.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant stated in a series of tweets that the decision to open up the first dose of vaccination for the 18-45 age group who need to travel internationally for employment, education and sporting events was on the basis of guidelines issued by the central government
The documents to be carried at the vaccination centre include admission offers or associated formal communications for the purpose of education in foreign countries, interview calls for a job or offer letters for taking up employment in foreign countries or nomination to participate in the Tokyo Olympic Games.
This facility is expected to help a large number of students, people working abroad and seafarers in the State.
