the goan I networkrVALPOI rrThe Valpoi CHC looks after the entire Sattari taluka with 12 panchayats and one municipal council falling under its jurisdiction. rSources informed that since the last three years, three sanitary inspectors were posted at Valpoi, but due to some reasons, they were transferred within a short time. rPresently, over 100 applications are pending with the health center for NOCs for water tap connections, NOCs for construction of houses, etc. rWhen contacted, health officer Dr Gajanan Naik admitted that the sanitary inspector, who was recently transferred, has proceeded on leave. “Presently many applications for NOCs are pending and it requires immediate attention,” he said. rPeople have urged the health department, especially Health Minister Vishwajeet Rane to look into the matter and ensure that it is resolved on a priority basis.

People from Sattari taluka have complained that they are struggling to get their works done in the absence of sanitary inspector at Valpoi Community Health Center (CHC) for the last three years.
