Valpoi Police arrest accused brothers in murder case

The two brothers accused in the murder of their elderly relative were arrested by Valpoi police on Wednesday.

According to Valpoi PI Sanjay Dalvi, the accused Nagesh Shinde (38) and his brother Vithu (45) from Sal-Bicholim, after committing the murder of Bala Shinde (90), were hiding at a relative’s house at Zolambe-Maharashtra.

Acting on a tip, Valpoi Police rushed to the spot and arrested both the brothers.

Meanwhile, the car driver Suresh Khaunekar (22) of Khorlim-Mapusa, has been remanded to seven days in police custody.
