Vasco police raided a prostitution racket at a spa in Vasco and nabbed two persons, while also rescuing three women.
According to police, sex services were being provided to customers under the grab of spa facilities and victim girls were performing sexual activities with customers.
Vasco police arrested a 45-year-old woman from Kerala but residing at Mundvel-Vasco and a 32-year-old man from Kerala but residing at Margao.
The three rescued women in the age group of 20-35 years consisted of a local, a Nepali staying in Goa with her parents and a woman from Sangli-Maharashtra.
Sources said the police had information that the first floor of the spa cum beauty parlour had partitions where massages were being offered. “We had information that cross massage were being given at the parlour which ended with sex activities, thus indulging in prostitution activities.”
“We sent a decoy customer at the parlour and we received confirmation that sexual activity was taking place. Later, a police team along with a panch and NGO entered the spa and we found clothes with seminal discharge and stains.”
“We also found that the three women were exclusively hired for massage. The massage parlour was being run on a contract,” said the source.
Vasco police later registered an offence and arrested both accused under Section 379 read with 34 IPC and Sections 3,4,5 and 7 of Immoral Traffic Act.
Vasco police is further investigating the matter under the supervision of PI Nilesh Rane.
