In a new twist to the sex scandal case allegedly linking former minister Milind Naik, the victim from Bihar appeared before the Mormugao police along with her advocate on Tuesday morning.Mormugao PI Paresh Naik informed reporters that they will now conduct further investigation into the case and verify various incidents in the FIR filed by the woman in Bihar.
"The woman has come with her lawyers and an NGO. She has revealed some facts in this case and we are ascertaining these facts. I cannot reveal much as of now, but we will reveal it during the course of investigation," said PI Naik.
Meanwhile, the advocate accompanying the victim said the woman had filed a Zero FIR at Bihar after which it was transferred to the Mormugao police station.
"The statement of the victim is already recorded by the Bihar magistrate and a women’s NGO in the presence of officials.”
“We came to know through the media that some handsets and other things are with somebody. We have personally appeared before the Mormugao police station and we have alleged that without our permission, our electronic devices are with somebody.”
“The FIR involves various sections of kidnapping, extortion, etc. and we are also going to show some locations to the investigation officer. We will divulge more details later," said the advocate.
