Captured by : Let us paralyze Panaji: Sardesai

PONDA

Fatorda's Independent MLA Vijai Sardesai on Thursday advised the agitating truck owners to paralyse Panaji by changing the epicentre of their agitation from Usgao to the capital city.

Sardesai, who reached on the spot along with Bicholim Independent MLA Naresh Sawal, claimed that the government's decision to establish a committee to decide a rate was a mere “pass time”.

“It is an alliance of the BJP and Congress, who want to pass time by forming committees. They are being formed for delaying tactics. But don’t fall prey to it, just paralyse Panaji,” advised Sardesai.

“Nothing is going to happen by agitating in Usgao, you will get our right only when VIPs in Panaji are suffered by the agitations. Let us see how they celebrate the New Year in Panaji. Let us paralyse the capital city,” he added.

Sawal also attacked the BJP government and said: “Don’t agree to the rate given by the government. You stick to your demand and we will be always with you, provided the Association is united.”
