The State government has enhanced remuneration of vocational teachers in government-aided higher secondary schools conducting vocational courses. The enhanced remuneration will be effective from April 1 onwards.
These teachers include full-time teachers on contract basis, double part-time teachers and single part-time teachers.
The remuneration of full-time teachers on contract-basis has been enhanced to `18,000 per month. Earlier this remuneration was ` 11,750 for post graduates, while it was ` 10,000 for graduates.
The remuneration of double part-time teachers has been enhanced to Rs 15,000 per month. Earlier it was
` 11,750.
