Wanted in Tamil Nadu, accused caught in Corlim

The Old Goa police arrested accused A Rajesh from Tamil Nadu on charges of duping around 300 persons to the tune of Rs 40 lakh on the pretext of booking scooters.

The police informed that upon receipt of information from Coimbatore police that the accused was in Goa, two teams were formed in search of the accused which started visiting and gathering information from areas like Corlim, Old Goa, Dona Paula, Caranzalem, etc.

Finally, the accused was caught near his residence at Corlim.

The car involved in the offence was also recovered by Tamil Nadu police. The accused was using the TN registered vehicle by changing number plate to GA. The number plates of KA (Karnataka) were also recovered from the accused.

The Tamil Nadu team was led by PSI Bhaskaran.
