Waterfall tragedy: Renuka's body recovered

MARGAO: The body of Renuka Murgutti from Margao was finally recovered on Tuesday at the waterfall point Karwar and it was transported to her residence at Comba this evening.
The mortal remains of the woman arrived at her residence at Comba at around 6.45 pm. Relatives said her body was recovered from the waterfall area after an intense search. Her brother, who had also joined in the search operation, was believed to have spotted Renuka's body earlier in the day.

Bus driver arrested for drunk driving

Margao traffic cell attached a bus and the driver arrested after a breath analyzer test revealed that he had consumed alcohol beyond the permissible limits.

MARGAO: Margao traffic cell PI Mohan Gawde told The Goan that the bus plying on the Margao-Betul route was being driven by the owner itself. "During enforcement, we came across a bus driver smelling of lioqur at around 9.30 am. The breath analyzer test revealed that he had consumed around 299 mg of liquor.
