MARGAO
The entrance to the world famous Colva beach was turned into an eyesore with strays feasting on waste stacked in polythene bags dumped right at the beach square.
The dumping of waste, right at the beach entrance, apparently to facilitate the transportation by the contractor, turned the area into a makeshift waste dumping site on Wednesday.
The situation was aggravated further as stray dogs, which have been on the prowl along the beach belt for want of food after curtains came down on the beach shack season, were seen feasting on the waste.
The dogs ripped open the polythene bags in search of waste, giving the
entire beach entrance a bad look.
