PANAJI: Goa Pradesh Congress president Girish Chodankar, on Wednesday, also reiterated the party’s demand that the ailing CM needed to be relieved of his duties.
“For the past one year we have been asking that the CM be relieved of all tension and stress and focus on his health. Look what’s happening in the government. All ministers are fighting with each other,” he said.
Chodankar also assured the media that the party was trying to obtain documents that would expose corrupt ministers who were clearing files in order to “loot” the state.
“Since they are fighting between themselves, they themselves will give us incriminating documents that will bring down the others,” said Chodankar, adding that even officers were fighting.
“God knows what the ministers have done so far which has not yet come into the public domain,” he added.
“No development zones and forest areas are being converted. We get these documents from Ministers who are upset with other ministers,” said the GPCC chief.
That was not the only potshot GPCC chief Chodankar took at the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Minister Vijai Sardessai however, with the president also making a mention of the bouncers that had been seen instead of police personnel outside the SGPDA meet some days ago.
