A resident of Varca has lodged a complaint with the Colva police alleging that her husband set two scooters on fire, including her own Activa, causing damage worth around Rs 2.20 lakh.
In her complaint, Vinanti Kolkar stated that her husband, Damodar Kolkar, allegedly set fire to her Activa scooter and a TVS Ntorq belonging to their son, resulting in the loss. The Colva police have registered the case under Sections 324(5) and 351(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
