Woman rider dies in Curtorim accident

A lady scooter rider died in a road accident at Tembi-Curtorim on Thursday night.

Maina-Curtorim police informed that the incident occurred on late Thursday evening near St Anthony Chapel, Tembi-Curtorim when the accused driver of Thar jeep Nelson Gonsalves, a resident of Guirdolim gave a dash to the rider of Activa scooter Inacia Catarina Silva, a resident of Macazana.

The police have registered an offence under Section 281, 106(2) of BNS.
