Woman's corpse found in Verna

A body of a woman was found in a drainage at Hankant, Verna on Wednesday. According to Verna police, the deceased, Luiza (68), wife of Robert Correia, was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. The police conducted the panchanama and the body has been sent to GMC Bambolim for further legal formalities. The case is under investigation.

CURCHOREMQuepem Police recovered a dead body of a labourer in a jungle at Kevona-Rivona. Quepem Police received information from Casualty Police on Tuesday late evening that one person, Junas Lokre (30), a labourer by profession and resident of Tetra, Konbirnawatoli, Jharkand, has been brought dead from Kevona-Rivona, Sanguem. Upon inquiry, his wife, Sumita Lokre, revealed that her husband was stung by bees at around 3pm when he went to the jungle at Kevona, Rivona. The body…
