One middle-aged woman from Cacora was assaulted by another woman, resulting in the victim suffering a fracture to her arm in the assault.
On Tuesday afternoon, Curchorem police registered a complaint against Tanuja Shivangikar, resident of Pongirwal Cacora.
Police sources informed that the complainant, Shanta Nayak (40) was assaulted by the accused who criminally trespassing into her rented premises at around 11.30 am and attacked her with ceiling fan pipes on the victim's left hand, thus causing fracture.
The accused also verbally abused the victim with foul language. Further investigation is under progress.
