Women to be feted on Mar 8
PONDA: The Sanvordem Pragati Manch (SPM) will felicitate 20 women working in different fields on the occasion of International Women Day on March 8.
The programme will be organised at Sadashiv Marathe hall, Pilyem-Dharbandora, at 3.30 pm. Sanvordem MLA Ganesh Gaonkar will be the chief guest for the function. ZP member Govind Gaonkar, Sarpanch Vinayak Gawas are likely to be present.
According to SPM, the felicitation programme is in recognition to the contribution of women towards the society and to encourage them.
