Workshop on lab safety
PONDA: The Department of Chemistry at Government College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Khandola-Marcela, in association with Syngenta Goa, will organise a one-day State-level workshop on laboratory safety at its institution on April 30.
The workshop is being organised for laboratory assistants, lab attendants and faculty. The faculty should be a science teacher from schools and chemistry teacher from higher secondary schools or colleges.
The workshop will comprise various technical sessions on how to make a laboratory a safe working place, which will include user-friendly laboratory, safe use and maintenance of glassware and laboratory instruments, first aid and fire safety.
