The education department may have permitted schools and higher secondary schools across the State to begin physical classes for Class X and XII but most institutions are gearing up to rbegin from Monday next.
Earlier this month, the Education department issued permission to re-open educational institutions in physical mode from November 21, but asked them to initially start with only class X and XII students.
Many schools The Goan contacted however said they are preparing to begin from Monday next.
Ensuring a maximum of 12 students in each classroom, calling students in a staggered manner, resorting if needed, to the odd-even roll numbers formula are some of the instructions the schools will be adherering to.
In addition, of course, to sanitozing classrooms and furniture, use of face masks and sanitizers by all and ensuring physical distance is maintained.
