ZP funds for new classrooms

BICHOLIM: Latambarcem ZP member Sanjay Shetye has sanctioned ZP funds of Rs 10 lakh to Government High School, Shirodwadi-Mulgao, Bicholim, to construct two extra classrooms to facilitate the strength of the students.

The foundation stone for the classrooms was laid by Bicholim MLA Naresh Sawal in the presence of Shetye, Adv Manohar Shirodkar, Vidhya Parab and PTA members.

Speaking on the occasion, Sawal lauded the efforts of Shetye.

Tailoring classes at NarvemBICHOLIM: Speaker Anant Shet recently inaugurated tailoring classes of Ghoteshwar Sanskritik Mahila Mandal at Talewada-Narvem. Speaking on the occasion, Shet called upon the women to become self dependent and to remain united. Mayem ZP member Shankar Chodankar, BJP mandal president Ladko Kinalkar, director Milind Raut, Narendra Mayekar and tailoring teacher Suchitra Naik were present on the occasion. Narendra Mayekar proposed the vote of thanks.
