Antha Prerna 2021, a two-day start-up conclave and entrepreneurship summit hosted by the Start-up Promotion Cell of government of Goa in collaboration with AIC-GIM (Atal Incubation Centre-Goa Institute of Management) and Info Tech Corporation of Goa Limited begins on September 3, at the Taj Resort and Convention Centre at Dona Paula. It aims to serve as an enabler and catalyst to building a better start-up ecosystem and accelerate growth.
The summit is an effort to bring together the collective ecosystem of entrepreneurs, innovators, investors, start-ups, educationists, the government and policy makers to create synergies that will empower and facilitate a robust start-up ecosystem in Goa. The summit was inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant earlier last week.
Speed pitching by Goan start-ups to high net-worth angel investors, start-up hackathons, knowledge sessions by experts from the start-up ecosystem, panel discussions with policy makers, networking sessions will be witnessed on the concluding day of the summit.
There will be power packed sessions ranging from start-up hackathons to panel discussions and virtual live interactions with some of the most recognized names from the business and investor ecosystem.
Over 20 shortlisted start-ups from across the State will pitch their business ideas to venture capitalists, industry stakeholders and government representatives at the session Match-a-thon. Shortlisted from several incubators from across Goa the entrepreneurs will showcase their innovative products and services while seeking investment.
In a session aimed at entrepreneurs and start-ups that choose to venture beyond IT, policy makers and domain experts will engage, discuss and deliberate on the challenges and opportunities that exist within the ecosystem. Individuals can register at www.anthaprerna.in to attend.
