One Covid related death was recorded in the mortality bulletin of the Health Department on Wednesday. The deceased is a 50-year-old woman from Vasco, who succumbed to Covid-19 at Goa Medical College and Hospital in Bambolim.
The Covid death toll of Goa now stands at 750. A total of 96 new cases from 1,942 samples tested positive in the last 24 hours. The total confirmed cases have touched 52,079 of which 50,515 have recovered. The recovery rate is 97 per cent.
