2 more Covid deaths, 56 new cases

Two more persons succumbed to Covid in Goa while 56 new cases were recorded on Friday.

A 70-year-old man from Bicholim succumbed at GMC while another 74-year-old man died at a private hospital in North Goa. The mortality toll of the state now stands at 3325.

With 56 of the 4445 samples testing positive for covid, Goa recorded Covid positivity rate of 1.25 per cent. With 85 recoveries active Covid count stands at 748.
